Trailblazers
Indie authors are, in many ways, trailblazers. Like the pioneers of old who walked across the country, staking claim, building, failing, succeeding, and finding fulfillment, indie authors are able to do just that.
Recently, indie author Emily Martha Sorensen sent a very insightful newsletter. She is definitely a trailblazer. An author told her that you can pretty much write about anything in YA these days, except being parents. Yet, she does exactly that. Emily’s book are about the parents of magical children–a dragon actually.
The first book of hers I read was a holiday story, Dragon’s First Christmas.
And so, this month, Roxbury Books would like to showcase some trailblazing authors. Comment and let us know what trailblazing authors and books you have read and enjoyed.
Links will go to author amazon pages.
