My Review:
This was a nice story about finding joy in family, set to the Christmas season.
This review will contain spoilers.
Uncle Mannie is dying. And it gets worse, he’s not expected to make it to Christmas., Abby’s favorite holiday.
When Abby meets Carter, Uncle Mannie asks him to help him write his obituary. Uncle Mannie has his own reasons for this, and it’s in the journey that the story really unfolds. Uncle Mannie wants to survive long enough to not ruin Christmas. Carter wants to write a Christmas book with out understanding the beauty of the holiday. And Abby is the glue that can help them both.
